The great thing about computers today is that they are readily available and relatively inexpensive to buy. There are also plenty of different brands to choose from. In terms of operating system, you have a choice of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Chrome OS. However Apple laptops are normally very expensive and you definitely won’t find one that costs under $300. Linux is another option but it’s extremely difficult to use so we won’t be discussing that in this post.
Personally, I think Chrome OS is by far the easiest operating system to use and is perfect for anyone that has never used a laptop before. It’s completely web-based and so doesn’t actually have any real applications like Windows or Mac OS. You can easily browse the web and call your friends with the click of a button.
Chromebooks have been getting increasingly popular lately and are mainly aimed towards people who haven’t used computers before. Chromebooks were voted as the easiest laptops to use under $300 over at Scanzoom. That’s quite an achievement considering the first Chromebooks only came out a couple of years ago. Needless to say, I think Google have done a very good job in promoting their Chromebooks to the market.
To sum it up, if you want a laptop under $300 that is easy to use, make sure to buy a Chromebook. They’re excellent value for money and let you access the Internet easily.
